Mykola Azarov Becomes Prime Minister of Ukraine

Yesterday’s session of the Verkhovna Rada was marked by two significant events: Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, announced the formation of a new parliamentary coalition “For stability and reforms” consisting of 235 MP’s, followed by the President proposing the candidates for the posts of the Prime Minister, Foreign Minister, Minister for Defence and Head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU).
