International Monetary Fund is ready for further cooperation with Ukraine, Max Alier, IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine, announced at the investment forum in Kyiv. He mentioned that a telephone conversation on this issue between the Fund leaders and President Victor Yanukovych has taken place.  One of the most important conditions of cooperation is the reduction of the current year budget deficit and normalization of the situation in the financial and banking sector.

Max Alier also said that the inflation in Ukraine in 2010 is estimated to reach 10 percent, and export is to be one of the main factors of economic growth. IMF will announce its final economic forecast later, UNIAN reports.
